- radar sensors on the right and left of the rear bumper monitor the area behind or next to the vehicle at speeds of 15 km/h and above
- the system measures the distance and speed difference to other vehicles
- displays in both exterior mirrors warn of critical situations
- When standing still, the assistant detects bicycles or vehicles in the danger zone and warns visually and acoustically (only 3 min after the engine is switched off)
