Note:
- this coding dongle can only be used for the same car but it's repeatable on that car
- * At the moment, the respective control unit must be unlocked for a limited time before using the dongle. This must be done by a workshop with valid GEKO access
Additional notices:
- The coding dongle is bound to the respective vehicle after initial use. Returning used dongles is not possible. Before using the dongle, please check whether a software update is required using the "Dongle Tool" found HERE
- If you are unable to perform the commissioning yourself, or if it is an SFD2 vehicle (More information can be found here) for which commissioning is mandatory, we offer an optional one-time remote commissioning service. This can be added to the shopping cart button. This is a one-time service. If coding is lost, for example, due to a software update or other interventions, the commissioning fees will be due again. If no remote diagnostic interface or coding dongle is listed in the scope of delivery of the item, any KUFATEC dongle or our KURDIS KUFATEC remote diagnostic interface item number 70000 is required for commissioning. If commissioning is also ordered, a separate appointment must be arranged for this
- It is possible to purchase the coding dongle not as physical hardware but as a license; please select this option under additional services. After placing your order, you will receive a token that allows you to activate the license. Subsequently, vehicle adjustments can be carried out using a PC or MacBook, the Chrome browser, and any KUFATEC dongle with at least software version 4.X. If no KUFATEC dongle is available, item 70000 can be used
