• please check if the required breaking point for the installation of the lights is available at the bottom side of the outside mirrors
• Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 2 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Highline "5") required for "LED area lighting" is Highline
• To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
• Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
• Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
• ? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 5 = compatible - door control unit must not be replaced
• e.g.: 5Q0959593X / 5Q059592X are suitable, 5Q0959393X / 5Q059392X need to be replaced
• In case the ex Factory installed control units are not suitable, you need to use the control units in our "Accessories" area. This ensures that the control unit has correct software and data sets
