A must-have for campers
This dongle is worth every kopeck. When camping in our 2024 AWD Sprinter, an annoying thing has been the van automatically relocking itself if a door has not been opened within 40 seconds. This behavior requires planning ahead when to unlock the van, as oppposed to just unlocking the van when it's convenient for YOU, e.g., when you're coming back from a hike, getting out of bed, etc. The auto relock mandates a STRATEGY for something as mundane as unlocking the vehicle. This is just a ridiculous. Thankfully, Mercedes-Benz provides the ability to turn this feature off, and Kufatec's dongle does just this. Using the dongle is extremely simple: turn on the ignition without starting the engine, insert the dongle into the OBD port, wait ~ 10 seconds, and it's done. It's even possible to restore auto-relock just by repeating the procedure, but why would you?
