- Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 3 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Midline "5" - Highline "7") required for "Soft Close" is Highline
- To determine whether you have the correct door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnosis
- Example part number: XX0 959 ?9X + index letter as for example A, B, C
- Here is the place of the ? "question mark" is decisive
- ? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
- ? = 5 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
- ? = 7 = compatible for "Soft Close" retrofitting
- ? = 9 = compatible for "Soft Close" retrofitting
- eg: 4M0959793X / 4M0959792X are suitable, 4M0959593X / 4M0959592X / 4M1959595X are to be replaced
